Sugar Hill Farm is the perfect place for friends & family to gather when visiting the Horse Capital of the World! Surrounded by rolling hills & horses, you will quickly fall in love with everything this farm has to offer. Spend the summer days swimming outside, walking around the farm, grilling hot dogs & burgers, and even swinging under the trees. Watch your favorite movies or shows in one of the two living rooms on the main floor or listen to the rain in the cozy sun-room! There is so much for you to do at Sugar Hill Farm, no matter what season it is!
EAT
While we recommend several local restaurants, we also encourage you to use our well equipped kitchen to make your favorite meals! Enjoy your dinners outside on the patio or in the beautiful dining room. If you are looking for a simple, yet fun meal, roast hot dogs & marshmallows around the fire pit!
SLEEP
Traveling with a group of people? No worries! With four bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms, there is room for everyone! The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached full bathroom. You will then find two bedrooms with queen beds & one bedroom with 3 twin beds.
AMENITIES
Sugar Hill Farm is a historic horse farm and is surrounded by gorgeous Kentucky landscapes and our favorite 4 legged friends. Our pool is the perfect place to spend summer days, the firepit makes the best smores, & the patio is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee while watching the horses run.
For inside activities, there is a large dining table to play games at with family and friends. There are 3 TV's in the home, 2 on the main floor and 1 upstairs in the Master.
At the time of check-in, guests will receive a code to access the backdoor into the farmhouse. The key is located in the lockbox and you may use this key while staying at the property.
Hosts are not on site, but are available 24/7 for anything you may need.

This area is full of gorgeous country roads and has been voted one of the Most Scenic Drives in America. Ubers and Lyfts also service this location.
The pool is typically open and ready for swimming early May through Labor Day. However, if swimming is your fancy please let us know and we will see if we can have it open during your visit! Enjoy a gorgeous view!

We thought the area was a pure treat. Horse country at it's finest. Beautiful and peaceful. It was close to everything. The inside was tastefully decorated and cool. There was a pool that could use a little TLC with the pole falling out ,etc, but it was perfect for a summer's day. The communication was excellent. I felt anything I needed or question I had was immeditely answered and addressed. The amount of space was perfect. I would highly recommend

Charming spot among the horse farms! Being able to stay in a true historical farmhouse made it feel so homey while providing all the modern things we needed. Beds were very comfortable and A/C and ceiling fans worked perfectly to keep us cool in peak summer heat and humidity.

What an incredible stay! We came to Kentucky with our family and two close friends, and this place exceeded every expectation. The country-style charm made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived — cozy, welcoming, and full of character. The pool was absolutely amazing, easily one of the highlights of the trip, and the surrounding area felt like something out of a dream. Anne was a wonderful host, and it's clear this space was thoughtfully put together with real care. We can't wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat with room for the whole crew!

This was my second stay and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Beautiful views from every direction and the house is stunning. Anne was always helpful and responsive.

With 2 families, we were at capacity, and still felt we all had enough space for all aspects of family life. Kids spent a lot of time in the study playing video games (we brought the game systems). Parents had the living room. The sun room was a quiet space when someone needed downtime or privacy. The dining room table hosted family dinners. It was too hot for a fire pit, but a nice spot for reading with coffee in the morning. The front porch was shaded in the afternoon to enjoy a cocktail. And of course THE POOL was a great hit! I loved walking the dog to see the horses surrounded with incredible scenery. A great time was had by all!

Lovely secluded home that is a quick 10 minute drive to Versailles. Plenty of space to spread out and beds are super comfortable. Pool is large and plenty of toys available at the house. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away or stay near the bourbon trail.

The place was amazing! Even better than listed . It was gorgeous inside and out. Made for the most amazing relaxing weekend with close friends!! So many areas to kick up your feet. The pool was perfect, and fire pit was easy! Beds were comfortable! Had everything you could need! So much character! Very cozy! The land around was beautiful. Sitting on the front porch at sunset was perfect! The host was so great! Went over and above to accommodate us. Was very quick to respond and very helpful. Will for sure be staying again!!!
